The British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) includes the following insurances as a benefit for all eligible members.

Optional Covers
Top-Up Insurance
Eligible members may increase their own personal level of cover under the scheme to either £7.5million or £10million any one claim. Click the link for application form and details of cost.
Non Delineation Activities
Members may purchase separate insurance to cover healthcare work outside their BASRaT Scope of Practice. Please call one of our professional advisers on 01245 321185 to discuss or email your details to promedschemes@jameshallam.co.uk.
Business Liability
Members trading as a partnership or private limited company may require separate insurance. Private limited companies owned 100% by a qualified BASRaT member, where the member is the only practitioner engaged are included within the block scheme (see summary and policy for details).
Clinic Insurance
Members operating a clinic or rehab centre or employing staff will require general insurance for their assets and revenues. Please speak to one of our advisers on 01245 321185 or submit details to promedschemes@jameshallam.co.uk.

Individual Top-Up Cover for BASRaT Members
Eligible members may increase their own personal level of cover under the BASRaT block Professional Liability Insurance Scheme to £7,500,000 or £10,000,000 any one claim. To apply simply complete the appropriate Application form on this page and submit with payment of the additional premium due (see table of costs below)

All cover expires 31st January each year in line with the members block policy.

- Costs include Insurance tax
- Members will receive individual renewal notices each year to renew their top-up cover
- Evidence of increased cover will be issued to each member on acceptance/renewal
- Terms and Conditions of cover are identical to the Members Block Scheme
- Cover cannot be back dated and will only apply to claims notified during the period of top-up cover

Professional Liability Insurance for UK BASRaT Students Qualified to Practice Sports Massage
UK BASRaT students that have successfully completed the appropriate modules within the BASRaT BSc programme in Sports & Exercise Medicine (or hold a suitable alternative Sports Massage Qualification) may apply for this Professional Liability Insurance offered at discounted rates for BASRaT members.
(Not available to members resident outside Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man)
