Martin Linfield

Divisional Director

Martin joined James Hallam in 2021 to set up the Event Sector Division, after working at Hiscox for 23 years as a Terrorism Underwriter, Underwriting Centre Manager and then Head of Event Sector Insurance since 2008. Martin has met many Event Organisers through attending industry events over the years and most recently was Treasurer for ABPCO (Association of British Professional Conference Organisers).

Chloe Mills

Account Executive

Chloe joined the James Hallam Events team in 2021 after working at Hiscox as an Event Insurance Underwriter. With over 10 years of experience in the Event Insurance Industry, Chloe enjoys working with a wide variety of event organisers, understanding their unique needs and offering bespoke insurance solutions. Chloe has met many event organisers through our partner associations and attending industry events across the UK and Europe.

Outside of Insurance, Chloe enjoys taking part in a variety of sports and has recently completed her first (and last) Sprint Triathlon.

Rob Bentley

Account Executive

Rob has been working in the insurance industry for over 40 years in a variety of roles and specialising in the events sector since 1997. As part of the Event Assured underwriting team, and later with the Hiscox Events team, he became well known for providing excellent levels of service and sound advice to his many long-standing clients in the MICE, Associations, and voluntary sectors.

Outside of insurance, Rob enjoys golf, badminton, towing his caravan around the country with his wife Claire, and tinkering with his aged Citroen 2CV called Kermit.

Rob has been with James Hallam since November 2021.
