Welding and Metal Fabricators Insurance
James Hallam is an independent Lloyd’s broker with a dedicated team of experienced insurance professionals who are committed to ensuring welders and fabricators can access specialist cover they need, whether you run a business or operate as a self-employed contractor.
What Does Welders and Fabricators Insurance Cover?
Welders and fabricators need specialist cover for the various risks that are specific to this hazardous line of work. They also need extensive contents cover for expensive tools and equipment.
If you are injured on the job, your insurance can also cover your overheads for as long as it takes for you to recover. This means that you will not be out of pocket while you are out of action.
Welders and fabricators also need professional liability insurance. This will cover any legal fees or compensation that may be due if a customer is not satisfied with your work, and makes a claim against you.
Welding and fabricating can be dangerous work. As well as covering yourself and your employees, your welding and metal fabricators insurance can also provide some cover for members of the public, whether they are customers, site visitors, or other contractors.
If anyone is injured while visiting your premises, or while you are carrying out your work, public liability insurance can cover any legal fees or compensation that may arise from a subsequent claim.
Public liability insurance for welders and fabricators can also provide cover for accidental damage to property on work sites.
We can tailor an insurance package to meet the specific needs of self-employed welders and fabricators. Personal injury cover can be particularly important for self-employed contractors, as you may not have access to statutory sick pay. If you are ever injured on the job, your insurance can help you cover all of your bills while you focus on recovery.
James Hallam is an independent Lloyd’s broker with extensive experience in providing professionals from a range of sectors. We will take the time to get to know you and your welding and metal fabrication business, so that we can tailor an insurance package that meets all of your needs at a competitive price.
