Haulage Insurance: Transport and Logistics

No matter what sort of goods you are shipping, and how far you are shipping them – and no matter how big your workforce or your fleet is – we can tailor a bespoke haulage insurance package to cover the unique risks faced by transport and logistics businesses.

What is Haulage Insurance?

Haulage insurance is specialist cover for transport and logistics firms. We can tailor a haulage insurance package to cover your entire supply chain, with dedicated cover for your employees, your stock, your vehicles, and for goods in transit.

With a dedicated haulage insurance policy, you can get full cover for all of your vehicles and all of your drivers under a single policy. This means a single point of contact if you ever need to make a claim, and a single renewal date to consider each year. In this way, specialist haulage insurance can help you to streamline your operations, through giving you considerably fewer things to worry about.

Cover for your entire supply chain

Your supply chain is a complex machine with many moving parts. If just one of those parts encounters a problem, it can very quickly snowball into a major disruption. This is why our specialist haulage insurance packages are designed to cover your entire supply chain, from end-to-end.

Haulage insurance covers your drivers as well as your vehicles, and you can have full control over who is covered for what. For example, your policy can allow any driver to drive any vehicle in your fleet at any time, which can help boost your operational efficiency. Or, you can choose to set certain limits and restrictions to your cover, which can help bring down your premiums.

Louise Kennon
