This is specialist insurance for driving instructors, to cover the unique risks associated with teaching inexperienced drivers in a car with dual controls. It is illegal to drive without car insurance but teaching someone to drive creates a couple of insurance complications.

  • You will be allowing an inexperienced driver to operate your vehicle, and that driver is very unlikely to have their own insurance.
