Our dedicated small craft division arrange cover for all types of vessels, no matter what the use or size – private and pleasure or commercial, dinghy or super yacht – our team will search the market on your behalf to find you the cover you need.
We have access to the UK’s leading specialist marine insurers in this sector which means that we can source a competitive premium without losing out on the cover whilst remaining dedicated to working for you.
We work in the commercial fishing industry operating several vessel’s, the team at Everards always make sure we have the cover we need at a competitive premium, they go out of there way to explain what is and is not covered and on the one occasion we have made a claim they helped all the way ! other brokers we have used in the past simply do not come close to the level of service and care given at Everards. A great team in every way.

Everard insurance brokers have been looking after our insurance needs for over 20 years. You don’t know how good an insurance company is until the unfortunate happens. This is a very stressful time but Everard just take over and lessen the worry and stress, I can’t praise them enough, they provide and excellent service and one I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve insured my NordWest 420 Flybridge Motor Cruiser with the team from Everard since I bought her in 2006. They’ve always been efficient, friendly and competitive. Unfortunately I have had few incidents in all those years, but the few claims I’ve had have been paid out exactly as one would expect. Great people to deal with.

Pleasure Craft Owner
I’ve never made or received a claim (I enquired about a claim many years ago but on checking the damage was not as bad as first thought) but otherwise happy to say I’m very happy with competitive prices and second to none customer service.

Brendon has worked in the insurance industry since 2013 when he started at a national brokers servicing private clients. Brendon then went onto work for a local broker in 2016 who specialised in marine insurance, predominantly small craft. Having lived near to the Fishing Port of Newlyn his whole life, Brendon grew up with a passion of the fishing industry and so the new role seemed a perfect fit due to the amount of fishing boats insured. This broker was acquired by James Hallam, the parent company of Everard Insurance Brokers in May 2021 and combining the knowledge of the two companies was fundamental in creating a new Small Craft Division which Brendon now heads up. His team will look for quotes on any vessel including private & pleasure, fishing, any other commercial, both in the UK and Internationally.
